Liam’s WOD
For the past 5 years, gyms around the world have been doing Liam’s WOD. It’s a fun and engaging two-person WOD that is challenging for anyone but can also be scaled so that a first-timer can do it.
Liam Kowal was only 15 months when he was killed by a drunk driver in the middle of the afternoon when his auntie had taken him for a walk in his stroller. Liam’s parents Marcus and Mishel have been working hard ever since to end the senseless act of drunk driving, which claims more than 10,000 lives a year, just in the U.S.
Drunk driving fatalities kill more than 10,000 people in the US every year!

WHAT IS LIAM’S WOD?
To represent Liam’s date of birth and done every year on Liam’s birthday! This is a partner WOD, intended to remind everyone that together, we can end drunk driving-related fatalities.
Each round you and your partner SWITCH what you’re doing and you’re alternating between 25 and 15 reps. Partner A works, while Partner B is doing the respective static hold.
Partner A is must complete both the 25 reps and 15 reps before switching with Partner B. While one partner is working, the other is doing a static hold.
The workout is for time, which means at the end of the WOD, you record your time and next year you can redo it to see if and how you’ve improved.
